ONE CHILD
AT THE CENTER OF EVERY BREATH, LESSON, AND QUIET MOMENT
With years of experience teaching gifted students, working in special education, and supporting twice-exceptional learners, I offer individualized sessions for children who are highly sensitive, resistant to learning, navigating ADHD, or simply need support building awareness around how they learn and focus.
These sessions are not typical tutoring. While they can include elementary academic support, the real focus is on building the underlying skills that make learning possible in the first place: attention, self-regulation, and connection. Each session blends academic tutoring with focusing strategies, somatic practices, and relational skill-building, so children aren’t just catching up on schoolwork, they’re developing the tools to engage with it more fully.
Sound meditation is also part of each session as a way to build listening skills, strengthen attention and focus, and deepen a child’s ability to be present, both in learning and in connecting with others, including listening to their parents and teachers.
